My friend is on a business trip to NYC and it is her first time in the city. I'm extremely depressed that I opted out of going along. How can you not love this city and it's rich history? Don't get me wrong I love everything about the city but the nerd in me is obsessed with the history of the city. Think about everything in the past, present and future that has made or will make it our way via NYC. So, dear friend eat, shop, see the sights!! Wait...find a little time to get your work done so there will be more trips to come and I can go along.

One funny cartoon

I don't have cable I think it's a waste, therefore I have never seen or even heard of the cartoon "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" until it forced Boston to shut down. I really hope that the cartoon is as funny as the panic it insued upon Boston.

It's a shame!

Since my profession is Urban Design, I cannot go anywhere without my camera. I love to be able to show off the stupidity, wait I mean the "not well designed" things cities everywhere do.

For example, some Public Works Department thought it was a great idea to run power lines down the middle of a street in a suburban neighborhood. This picture reminds me of why everytime I watch the Wizard of Oz I'm so shocked the Dorothy wants to go back to Kansas. If Uncle Henry and Aunte Em were to sell the farm and move into town, they could've lived on this street.

Why?

I have a million thoughts that race through my head on a daily basis and occasionally there is one worth sharing. I'm addicted to reading other people's blogs, so I thought why not. Don't expect a post every day. It's not going to happen.
